After a week in Basel we jumped on the train to visit my Uncle and Aunt (Heinz and Elsa) in Gossau – a small town in the north east of Switzerland. On the way we spent a few hours in Zurich where we just wandered around the city centre, had lunch and sat by the lake. Heinz and Elsa met us at the train station and walked us back to their place – about 2 minutes away! They took us for a drive up to a place which gives a great view over St Gallen ...

Quite a bit has happened since my last entry, and I'm not about to deny all of you your little fix. After Locarno, a city in Tichino, a canton in Switzerland, one of three and a half; I ventured back to Lausanne with my couchsurfing host. I had not yet looked for a new place to stay, and so Rachel let me stay with her for another night or two. The next day she had another couchsurfer coming, however she wanted to leave for the night to goto a concert. So i was to hold ...

Today we drove to Lindau, Germany, and did our own walking tour. Lindau is an island in the eastern part of Lake Constance. It was quite overcast, but still lovely. I'm sure that on a warm summer day it would be filled with people sitting in the sun and enjoying all the open air cafes.
