      ... the motorway alongside, however the satnav had other plans or so I thought.

      It was telling me to "Make a U-turn 1.8km ahead"!! I stopped and looked at the map and was convinced I was heading North and just needed onto the motorway and so I ignored the satnav and continued, that was until I realised what it was telling me to do!!

      ... remain in our hearts as our favorite European city. We were awed by the northern city of Bolzano and so thankful we got to experience the Dolomites. We were enchanted by the magic of the lakes, especially Lake Como, with low-lying clouds, misty mornings, twinkling evening lights. Everywhere, we were treated with kindness -- and treated to the most fabulous food, especially pasta, and wine.

      ... from an old wooden look out and a walk around the area. Wine tasting followed at the outlet next to our hotel and of course a bottle purchased and half drunk before dinner. A check of local restaurants revealed Fischebank which is a Bruschetta specialist cafe. We shared the local special which was like a deconstructed bruschetta with great cheese and a glass of LeGrein.
