... a location on the map which looked to be on the other side of town. My distress must have shown as Ms. Information Girl said "it's only 10 minutes". Just down the street from the Info office we knew there were public "washrooms". Lesson learned: DO NOT ask for a "washroom" in Trento Info Center ...they will send you to the laundromat. Luigi wanted to let her know that washrooms were indeed very close and to make a point... her answer was that ...

tempted to hand the key back and simply go and ...

We will be here for only one night and tomorrow we are heading to Lake Garda in the Northern region of Italy. Lake Garda is the largest lake in Northern Italy and we are really looking forward to it! It is also getting quite chilly here so I am ready to head for a little warmer weather! I was very ...

Next stop was Brusio, well actually it was Campocalongo which is just over the Swiss border. Sharon's great grandmother came from this area and she was keen to search around and see if there were any signs of the Polla family still there. We didn't have to look far. Polla seems like it is a very big family, or series of families in Brusio and Campocalongo. Polla builders seemed to ...

... known as the Winter playground of the rich was glamorous but didn't hold more beauty than the areas we had already seen.

Next we changed over to the Bernina Express. We had reserved seats in the panorama carriage at Erins suggestion. To our delight we were the only passengers in the carriage. We could move around at ease taking photos and moving to the sides with the best views. The train climbed to 2253m at the top of the Bernina pass, real ...
