      ... some friends of my grandmother who wanted to meet me! We also went in to visit Arianna at work in Poschiavo and in the evening she took Lee and I out for dinner! We had such a wonderful time- good food, drinks and it was so good to catch up with my cousin!!! I only wish we could see the family more often.       ... These trains run between St Moritz and the Italian town of Tirano where I stayed on last years winter trip.

      Onwards and upwards to the summit of the pass. The summit of Bernina is at 2330m above sea level and is in my opinion one of the best view points in the whole of the Alps. As per usual I parked my bike up on the rock and took several photos of it with the mountains as backdrop.

      From here its a grand hi speed road down the pass with magical twists ...
