      ... by the St. Pierre Cathedral, which is visible from anywhere along the lakeshore in Geneva.

      We walked to St. Pierre Cathedral and entered. It was another pretty, old gothic cathedral of grey stone and beautiful stained glass windows. Not very big, compared to the other cathedrals we have already seen on this trip. What is most interesting about this cathedral is the museum underneath it.

      With the French towns of Evian and Yvoire so invitingly close across the lake it would have been a sin if we did not take the opportunity to see one of them.
