... Very lively and good fun atmosphere. Lunch with a massive beer as we have been walking for around 4 hours and then back to the hotel to pick up our bags and off the the airport. I am writing this somewhere at 38000 feet between Athens and Milan. It's a 2 hour flight and with the time change we should be in around 5.30pm. Good day so far.. Pays to do a bit of research. ... exhausting day in Athens! Sunday (16th) this morning we made our way out to keramikos, which is ruins of an old grave yard. The museum was more interesting than the actual grave yard was full of sculptures, grave stone heads and pottery that was buried with their owners. There was a fun run happening, which was great to see families out on a Sunday morning. Early start today, much in contrast to our lazy previous day. Unfortunately we hadn't slept well due to some noisy neighbours. (And put away your stereotypes - these are 4 middle-aged British women!)
