... Nowadays, little is left of the original structures but ruins and rubble - and a whole lot of columns. The Agora visitors centre had a bit of information on the ancient site, as well as the remains of some of the pottery and statues found during the excavation. The most interesting item was a giant Spartan shield. Considering Nathan and I are quite big fans of the 300 franchise, this was an item of interest for us to say the least.
