... leisurely enjoying a fabulous meal. Just doesn't get any better! We spent the rest of the evening walking around the streets which seemed very safe and fun and a lovely way to enjoy our first night in Vienna. We came back to the hotel and stopped in their restaurant for a cappuccino and tiny pastry...jerry had a nut torte and I had a chocolate mouse. The hotel room is totally quiet ( for being in the city it's great and the bed is hugely ...

I accidentally dropped my knife during dinner, I was petrified to ask her for another one for fear that she might scold me like a mean aunt. ... many places since my last blog. After Prague I went to a little town in the south of the Czech Republic called Cesky Krumlov. It was by far one of my favourite places so far. I'll post some photos of the castle and views. It was absolutely beautiful. Amy, I must admit that I nearly fell in love with the owner of the vegetarian restaurant and decided to stay there forever but I changed my mind at the last minute and went to Melk in Austria instead! Melk is a ...

... it tasted like . . . pork! We then went for a walk through the woods to a tower which had a lovely 360 degree view over the city and all the surrounding countryside. We should have figured out that this meant we would be going up. We walked uphill for a long time! We probably covered at least 10 kilometers today. The woods were lovely, and we did enjoy the change from the city. On the way back we were excited to ...
