... all the tapas bars showcasing the famous pintxos, a collection of finger food items spread out on the bar. It was Friday night, and Donostia (the basque name of the city) felt very much alive and socially vibrant, as its inhabitants wandered the pedestrian streets to meet up with friends and start entering tapas bars to enjoy local delicacies in an upbeat atmosphere. ... reminded me of Noosa when it was first built and had smaller funky restaurants and cafes and was less populated than Biarritz. We really liked the relaxing vibe and planned on coming back for a day.
