We found a great ice cream shop and also bought some souvenirs. From there, we went back into France and spent some time in Saint Jean de Luz. This town is famous because it is here that Louis XIV married Eugenie of Spain, forming the Peace Treaty of the Pyrenées. Lastly, we went to ...

We got another half bottle of the Buzet and had another wonderful meal watching the families on the beach of the Vieux Port. We worked off that delicious dinner and earned dessert back at La Bounty by walking the entire distance back! The wonderful, moist and flavorful Gateaux Basque and chocolate covered Profiteroles made it worth the effort! To see our pictures from that day, go to ...

... a leisurely home cooked breaky before heading to the beach all day rather than getting up at 6.30am, downing a quick coffee then hiking every day! We all absolutely loved walking the camino de Santiago. It was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. We met some great people, saw some beautiful landscapes and architecture, and (most importantly), ate some incredible food and tasted some delicious Spanish wines! There are over 35,000 people who hike the 'camino' each year. In ...
