... had been, but it wasn't terrible. (I hadn't been expecting a four star or anything, considering the other lodgings I'd experienced during past GAP tours). Anyway, we killed some time at nearby Rio (restaurant/bar that seemed to be popular with locals for watching futbol). I discovered the amazing [Brazilian] Caipiriña, which reminded me of a margarita- cachaça (sugar cane rum), sugar, and a ton of limes.

After our twelve hour, red eye flight we have arrived in San Jose at 6am, SUPER tired and disoriented. it is an IMPOSSIBLE task to TRULY fall asleep on a plane. For anyone whoever says to me again "oh, you can just sleep on the plane" be prepared to be raised one stink eye and a shake of my fist.
