    ... and drummers in a parade that begins Friday evening and lasts until Sunday. I hope to see a little bit of the cultural side of Okinawa that the base has sheltered me from. I'm also going to be going to Torii Station for a little girl time and on Saturday, Camp Hansen for Hansenfest; a giant festival/concert thing that I'm going to purely for the food.

    I'm excited for our adventures to come-- when I have more, I'll keep the blog updated!

    ... haven't truly lived until you've ordered a sirloin special in a restaurant named 'Texas' in no-mans-land Japan.

    As the only customers, we had little to no wait time and our food was prepared right before us in a little kitchen adjacent to the bar.

    Our steaks were AMAZING. We stuffed our faces, paid our bill, and left for Foster.

    The rest of our evening was uneventful; Terence went to work that night and I went to sleep.
