      We then walked through several small villages. Claudia pointed out various buildings including one for swallows. It was an odd building because it had pipes coming out of the walls on several sides. The swallows would fly in to build their nests and then the nests would be sold.       ... rice patties, temples, and to top it off, Gwynn convinced our guide to take us to his home village. His compound included four families, chicken, ducks and huge pigs and about 20 piglets. he also shared with us some Balinese paintings that he sells to galleries in Ubud in order to earn extra money.
