... for a place to eat. It was a band of 4 Indonesian guys playing Irish music that sounded like they were Irish! We went to several other restaurants as well and never had a bad meal.

We also stumbled upon a big kite festival one Sunday afternoon at a huge open beach area. The kites were very large, some 10-15 feet long. There was a team of people to launch and keep control of the ...

... to give up, I decided to head to the police headquarters in Denpasar to obtain a temporary license. Once arrived at the station I was welcomed with a warm smile by the officers with dollar signs in their eyes. I asked for a temporary license and we agreed on €25 to be a fair price. The city center of Kuta is a place I would like to spend as little time as possible ...

... came across a unicorn in a forest clearing, or a yeti in the Himalayas. You can't quite believe it's actually there right in front of you, a mere 5 meters away. It floated gently in the current while smaller fish swam up to eat the parasites from its skin, this 2 meter high animal, but only a few feet thick, disk shaped apart from huge paddle like fins at the top and bottom of it tail really is one that has to be seen to be ...

... such as vanilla, coffee, larwak coffee, ginger, cocoa, passion fruit, mangosteen, coconut, etc. the larwak animal eats the coffee bean and then poos it out. The poo is the raw bean which is then dried, cleaned and roasted like a normal bean. We tried some larwak coffee. It tasted similar to normal but more smooth. It was quite nice! After a quick stop in ubud (and a few shops!), we headed down ...
