    ... and head to our local bar for a chat with the staff, who are so friendly and a few Bintangs of course.

    We return back to base as this is the time of the week that we really look forward to, our Sunday Sykes with Jen and Sergio but we really look forward to seeing and hearing from our Lucas more, ahhh, shhh, don't tell anyone, haha.....

    ... I enjoyed watching her be happy. The instructor showed us some pieces that he does wholesale for various shops around the world. Of course one ring caught mom's eye so she purchased it. After the class it was time for lunch so Wayan took us to a cafe not too far from our villa. I had iced coffee, chicken satay cooked with coconut, rice and short bean salad. Everything was very good.     ... and quickly reach the market, where we meet the cook/guide and more "students". Here the adventure starts, it's hot, crowded, people are negotiating, carrying groceries, preparing offerings, eating and smells are strong (think of durian fruit, ginger, tumeric, dried fish, chillies, and much more, all these smells combined!).     ... had gone out so we had about 4 inches of water to swim in and below us sharp coral. I got taken by a wave and crashed onto some coral cutting my knuckles on my left hand. As I saw the blood I kept thinking’ Shark!’ I knew they were attracted to blood!! Okay so it was a small wound but it was rather painful.

    We swam out again to try and find a way back where there was less coral and more sand. Finally we made it back. I did get a bit worried at one stage thinking ...

    ... I could feel it oozing out of my pause. I headed for the beach for my run and killing two birds with one stone, I could get to survey the beach properly. Have to say, I saw no white sand whatsoever! I was promised white sand and the sand I saw was of normal colour. Most of it was dirty and tourist occupied. Still it was laid out well and quite spacious. Tomorrow will chill on it.
