Historical Traveler Reviews Hotel Palladium Palma
Nice hotel with a good location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good views from the upper level rooms.
Loved Mallorca and the Palladium Hotel!
I must say that the staff at Palladium Hotel, Palma are wonderful people and were very helpful. They gave us information on how to get to places, helped us rent a car, helped us with our bad spanish, gave us tips about where to visit and which restaurants to eat at. It was a wonderful experience staying with the Palladium. The rooms are simple but clean and sufficient. I would recommend staying there also because it's close to the cathedral and to the Sea and mountains.
great service, phantastic recomandations
Visiting Palma? - The Palladium is Perfect
If you like crowds, half-board, in-house entertainment and tour reps - then Palma's Palladium Hotel is not for you. However if you are looking for a comfortable, very well located city-centre place to stay, then The Palladium is well worth a visit. Palma is an easy city to explore on foot and from the Palladium you are within easy distance of all the major attractions which this beautiful city has to offer. The surrounding area also abounds with good quality Mallorcan restaurants.
Staff at the hotel are very friendly and extremely helpful - and don't worry, that, if like us your Spanish isn't very good -as all the staff speak good English, as well as French and German. If you are on a business trip or simply enjoying a city break in Palma - the Palladium is Perfect
Just used WLAN - no hotel guest.Very friendly and helpful asssting to connect to the net

Lovely hotel with the best relationship price-quality. The staff is ery kind and professional. The rooms are confortables and hav very good views to the city. It is located in the city center, you donīt need a car if you are going to work in the city. It is really a very good hotel.
You don't need more!!!
Best Hotel in this pricecategory!
Very nice people!
This three star hotel deserves an extra *. Confortable room, friendly staff, wonderful view to the cathedral and right on the spot : very close to the city center. I wish I had checked their web page before booking.
Excellent city center hotel!!!
Extremely friendly hotel - staff go out of their way to be helpful.
Perfect location in the city center and the best price-quality relationship! I've stayed a few times at this hotel; both rooms at the front and at the back of the building have excellent views (cathedral+sea at the back; the beautiful paseo mallorca at the front) and air conditioning. A real plus: wireless high-speed connection available at a flat rate, either with your own laptop or renting one at the reception desk. Comfortable, clean & well-maintained; I would highly recommend it! All in all, a really good value hotel.
I got a gorgeous room with a view to the Cathedral and I was able to wirelessly connect to my reps in the USA and talk to them with my IP telephone under a flat rate cost !! I might be using the Videoconferencing facilities next time. Excellent customer care.

... hope I will always remember it. Climbing back up from the coast was just as fun and at points it really felt like we were in the clouds and on top of the mountains. We had a great view of the sunset from the mountains. When back to Palma, I took James to the Mexican place from a few weeks ago (tapas is great, but I'm starting to look like patatas bravas...!). A great end to a lovely ...
... very rocky with no sand. We braved cooling off in the sea, which was great, but getting in and out of the water was anything but graceful - even for the girls! We escaped without slipping and breaking anything and headed to Port de Soller. I wanted to see the sunset here another time before heading home - we missed the sun actually going behind the hills, but the colour of the sky was still beautiful and we chilled with a jug of sangria for an hour ...
... beach with a lovely view out to sea. Then onwards to Calvia, a very small town with a nice church, and finally to Port d'Andratx where we stopped for a beer. The port was nice, but we learned later that it is a very expensive part of the island... I wasn't really sure why! We met John for dinner near his place in Sant Antoni and it was good for John and James to meet - thankfully they held off the geeky linguistics discussions - for now, at ...
... and one even involved crouching on a sledge before being shot down a slide and skimming across a pool at the bottom! We had a lot of fun but by the end I think everyone was pretty tired and a little dizzy (and with a couple of minor injuries!). After a couple of hours of quiet time, James arrived at the hotel and we headed out for a quiet dinner along Fabrica and a couple of drinks to start off his holiday - not too many though - it's a school night after ...
... Maybe that's cultural that you don't talk to others and intrude on their dinner. (What do you think, B?)
I can't stand it any longer. I finally strike up a conversation with a couple next to us, and we share lots of funny stories about our travels through the island. We got our best laugh when we told them we were off to Ibiza next. They couldn't quite picture us dancing on tables I guess.
