Waking up to the sound of rain after 6-7 days of heat was amazing although it was still quite warm and now very humid. With a 7:00am start it was time to head to Corfu! Jumping back on the coach for the last time we started our journey via Pompeii. We hit really bad traffic and ended up being 2hrs late for our tour due to a major car crash. Pompeii was amazing!! The second was by Sara Monoson about “Athenian Democracy and the Trial of Socrates.” Another great session that gave us food for thought as we start hitting the heart of our Greek experience.

Tomorrow, a four-hour tour of Olympus awaits. Well, that and a trip to the Plakes Beach in Katakolon before we depart for an afternoon at sea.

... have been toga wizards, I’ve no idea how they managed to make them look like proper dresses. Drinks, dancing and games pursued. In the early hours of the morning hilarity broke out in our room with Kiel coming back plastered and doing funny things. There is a video of the lot, but im no going to describe it in a public forum where I know my grandparents are reading. Haha. Great night anyway!

Tomorrow is out last half day in Corfu, hopefully not too hung ...
