ok, it was more "collecting a new country" than being really interested in Monaco. Strange, when you go there from Nice airport by bus it costs you 18 € one way, when you go from Nice bus terminal it costs 1 € one way. Monaco is a very clean city. I have never seen so many big and expensive cars. I saw the casino and the castle. Nice, but not spectacular.
Monaco, Monaco tilman... have an amazing view from Colline du Chateau. On saturday (November 28) we had sunshine and 19 degrees (end of November) and I was even swimming in the sea (15 gegrees), on sunday, November 29 we had rain and thunderstorms so that caused a delay of the plane of three hours. Best breakfast in town you find in "Les pains a tables" close to the market. Nice is a city I´d love to visit once a year minimum.....
Nice, Provence, France tilmanIt is Sunday and very wet and miserable here in Antibes. Quite a change from the glorious day we had yesterday. Ideal for computer work in fact... (Except that then things didn't pan out as planned and it is now Monday)
It wasn't my intention to have an entry before my departure but the response to my initial circular has been so overwhelming that I feel it merited an ...
... if we want to via a plug in the side of Scooby. We've only hooked up to mains twice and found that we can charge all our gadgets from the leisure battery without running out of power. Laptop, Camera, phone, iPod, eBook and GPs. The fridge goes 3 ways off Mains when plugged in, off battery when the car is running and off gas when stationary. Mad Mary We have a GPS with EU maps installed. She was christened Mad Mary by the previous owner due to her sometimes ...
Les Arcs sur Argens, Provence, France darrenhough74... meager with dinners, eating whatever the roast of the day was at the hostel for 6.50 or slightly dodgy pizzas, which were sometimes nice, and sometimes not. So yeah, nice to treat ourselves.
Our stay in the hotel was was lovely and we've decided to try and treat ourselves before we get to that shabby state again. Its amazing how quickly you forget the basic luxuries; one bed without a seam or a bar in the middle, one doona to share rather than two small single ones, a bathmat and ...
... worse....(see pic). Tried some traditional French cuisine in the form of a McDonalds milkshake ;-) Strolled along the front then headed inland through the new town, which we didn't even know existed. A huge square and gardens led us to back the old town where we finished the day off with a pain au chocolat!! Happy days.

... Incrivelmente azul. Ficamos muito tempo só admirando a paisagem. Tomamos sorvete e tiramos fotos. E aí tive a experiência mais estranha do CS. Achamos a casa ...
Nice, Provence, France erikapessoa... an hour to put the stupid thing together (no instructions) but it was worth it. I think Nice is very beautiful and their accents are easier to understand when speaking French. I was put in the advanced french class AGAIN. For some reason they think just because I know the Conditionnel Passé tense that I am fluent. I can actually barely string a sentence together, except for things like "Can I please have a Baguette?" "My name is Tara ...
Nice, Provence, France timrieComo o jogo era a tarde, fomos conhecer Nice de manhã. A famosa Riviera Francesa! A Coté D´azur (Costa Azul).
