    ... tiles and gold were not as good as they could be. I have no idea if this is to help preserve this great building or not but I think it would make such a difference if the dust was wiped off.     ... combination of very old class and kitsch with a view of plumbing and a wall but the room is huge so no complaints. We hope they never have a fire drill as it is quite a rabbit warren with twists and turns, up and down stairs and arrows that don't always make sens. Part of the charm. Thought of Odd when we ducked through a stairwell that required a warning and padding because it was so low! Not to mention the gondoliers ...
