    ... We were taken to a lace store where a lady was working on a very intricate piece of lace. It was explained to us that each lady would be a master a certain stitch so any one piece of lace could take up to seven women to complete. This is a dying art as the young women are not learning from their mothers and grandmothers any longer. We watched the master seamstress for awhile and then we took a tour of the shop.
