    ... the Lion of St Mark! Will never forget it. The crazy crush of people to get back home was something I won't forget either. In St Marks, people were pushing and we were in a giant human sandwich. Georgia said we were like penguins huddled against the cold.     ... smell of urine ( both human and canine) mixed with disinfectant. Luckily the disinfectant mostly wins out, with shop owners doing as much as they can to keep their frontages clean.
