    So Teplice Nad Metuji wasnt originally on our list but we'd heard that the rocks (Teplice Skaly) were not to be missed and so we packed our bags and off we trundled. Teplice is on the North East coast of Czech not too far from the Polish Border ‐ when we went it was COLD!

    There is a countrywide hiking path through Hungary and it cuts through Teplice so we were hoping to meet lots of fellow nature lovers, exchange stories ...

    ... at Prague Castle on a Sunday morning, expecting to get into St Vitus’ Cathedral! At least not before midday, and of course that clashed with the Changing of the Guard ceremony. But we waited for the Changing of the Guard and then went into the St Vitus Cathedral, and the wait was worth it. But, having visited the Cathedral in 2008, MJ noticed that there was less access around the Cathedral, but you still great views of some amazing Stained ...

    ... and out over time. We went for a walk into the forest which took about 3 hours looking at the various rocks which are said to look like certain things. It was quite cool to think we were actually walking on the ocean floor, and we were reminded of this as the path we walked along was covered in sand. We had fun trying to spot the formations in the rocks! Towards the end there was 300 steps we could walk up ...

    ... br> And I have to mention my mother and Carl here...they got on the dance floor and blew every one else out of the water... THEY CAN DANCE! My siblings and I (along with a few other people) bore witness to this....I guess those 10 years of ballroom dance classes really paid off.

    All in all it was great time and Thank You Ghislain and Daria for inviting us and allowing us to celebrate such a momentous event in such a beautiful setting. It was just... Fantastic!
