I'm ashamed to say I've now done both Slov's in one day, one day I will come back and see them properly.

After a harrowing series of VERY narrow roads to get into the parking lot, were were rewarded by a stunning, low-impact hike! Yes, you ...

We pay our 5 Eur and set off, talk about butterflies, hope we do not meet anything coming the other way and pray we get the right exit at the end of the tunnel otherwise it will not take long to get to the bottom

Top of Mangart not sure if we should laugh or cry - this is AMAZING !! Unable

... echoed around the place. Where we lay, we had a perfect view of the island and distant mountains. Although the place was busy and bustling with people, it still felt calm and peaceful. I think it's the first time, in a long time, that I felt fully relaxed. When you just lie somewhere so beautiful, with the sun beating down and the sky unbroken, you find time to clear your mind and focus on what's important. It's not like sunbathing on a beach. All you can see ...
