Well this is where we ended up after legging it from Saint Nicolas the terrible town! We park up in the local Carpark in town as the Aire was predictably full at 9pm. We get our heads down and put the TV on and watch Terminator 2 with sub titles like you do! We are still laughing at ourselves and the great escape! ... we got a big shower and the rest of the day the sun and rain took their turn. We arrived at 5:10 pm at Bellerive-sue-Allier which actually is just over the bridge from Vichy. ... 10:30 am. We drove through the beautiful landscape of the Voges and "la route des grands Crue" where you find hundreds of vineyards. Lots of chateaus and gorgeous old villages along these roads.
