    ... the joint--closed it down! We paid our bill and all walked home together through the dusty streets of Hyderabad. We were tired and smelled like the wrong end of a camel, but we were happy :). We were falling in love with the food, the sounds, the smells, and the streets. We just couldn't wait to meet the people of the slum communities tomorrow!

    ... it out in pencil on a peice of paper first to see if I was even able to write the letters and it look similar to the real thing. I then decided to just go for it and hope for the best. I used pencil first on the poster board and was pretty satisfied with the results.

    Mora gave me good advice. She said, it's like a little kid writing something to you and its spelling wrong but you love it so much more because of that.

    ... was only 90 rupees! That's about a dollar and fifty cents. Its more of a woven straw colorful rug if that makes sense. Not soft and squishy but its cool. We want to make our place look more homey.
