... it's the ayhevedic massages - I think it's a pound the daylights out of you type of massage. We'll see, I'm going to give my knee a rest *** Reminders to self, pick laundry up at 7pm and change 1000 & 500 rupee notes to 100's - before 10 pm we can't take them into Nepal - it's illegal and God knows I don't want to end up in a Nepalese or Indian gaol, I couldn't survive on the streets here let alone in a gaol! ... dirt cheap and great food for around 80p, but if I tried to recommend this place to anyone, they would never find it without a local guide. After lunch we visited the Kashi Vishwanath temple (Golden Temple) or at least tried to. This was far more protection than we had seen at any other temple or monument. A bit ...

... carts,nd all going anywhere they want. Total chaos but totally cool. We stayed in Park plaza hotel which is new and not yet finished, really nice and clean though! We headed put for a sunset boat ride on the Ganges to see the Ghats, all 22 of us in a tuck tuck convoy. The roads are crazy but so much fun! The Ganges is where the locals come to pray, bathe, celebrate, cremate their dead-it all happens here. We were told Varanasi is one of the holiest cities and one, ...

... who owned one of the houses right on the river front and was more than happy for us to head up to the roof to appreciate the great view. What was amazing was that it had been in the gentleman's family for generations...his great, great grandfather/uncle had saved a man from falling into the River at a very busy festival and it turned out to be a prince or king who he repaid back the favour by giving him two gold bangles. These ...
