If a women was to fall pregnant she's give birth with her husband (she's met on a one night only date arranged by her parents) and the chief wife and husband. ... the water supply department staffs (a hardcore Ceylonese community). He took us for a short tour around the temple narrating about the progress of the temple renovation and insisted that we attend the inaugural of the temple Maha Kumbabhishegam which is on 15th Sep 2013. Our next plan was to visit the Murugan temple, but he suggested that we visit the Vinayagar temple as it is being run by the “Atkal” community as well (how clannish!!) ...

Head back into the open on the lake, he takes us to his village, they have this archery target but rather than a bow an arrow there's this long hollow pipe-wood thing that you stick a dart into then you make a power blow and hope to hit the target. Cam went first and got the board, then I had a go and got a bullseye! ...
