(No Coment).

... to the Perhentian Islands. They are meant to be spectacular, but hopefully we don't have the rain following us. It doesn't normally rain this time of year, so I'm afraid that maybe our luck has finally run out and we are dragging it about with us. Guess I shouldn't have prayed so hard for rain when I was in Bagan!! The journey here was a bit of a mission - we had to take a 5 hour bus from Tanah Rate to Kuala Lumpur, then hop a different bus for another 5 hour ...
Cherating, Malaysia twoelders... We chose a night where there is no moon. We waited at the jetty nearby the office. The whole journey took us around 1 hour plus. Requires minimum 8 person. We did see plenty of fireflies that night. It's more in cluster of groups. One group on this tree. A few trees away, you can see another tree filled with fireflies that looked just like christmas tree. Only it looked even better! It was my first ...
Kuantan, Malaysia chelsinaApart from my new obsession with the Plain White T's song (hey Deliah) there is hardly anything new ... oh I was in Singapore - mostly retail therapy and also went to the doctor's - got a fever and stomach ache - never had it before when I was traveling! Did also malaria/dengue tests - all good :) was expensive, but waited exactly 10 minutes for the doctor, then 1.5 hrs for the results of the tests and they are very friendly (2 thumbs up!) - happy 2 know that ...
Cherating, Malaysia zalazala... had banners & painted t-shirts, a JCB digger was used to give some fans prime views, a great laugh. The highlight though was the diving - we did 10 dives in total here, all of them memorable in one way or another. On our 1st dive on the house reef just ...
Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia adrian.gfc... many European people although I think that the local people love watching this show because when the boat ride was over, the queue to get in was massive!! We got home around 23h just in time for me to meet up with my other Malaysian friend (Farzz who is getting married at the end of the month) and had some dinner... The rest of the weekend is in a different entry because it was in KL itself and is just local pics!!!
Cherating, Malaysia isax... His living room!), and cancelling stuff. Police were a bit of a pain and made me go to a different station the next day to get a report and seemed more interested in talking about Beckham and Gerrard than the theft!!! Hotel owner did take pity though and we got a free meal including a well nice banana split. Nice fella. Apologies for lack of photos for this (and probably the next) destination, but lack of camera neccesitates this!!
Cherating, Malaysia carlosgeyOnce our feet were on dry land again, we jumped on a couple of buses in the direction of Kuantan basically following the East coast! We managed to get on our most executive form of transport yet...a bus with only 3 seats across (2+1) - talk about leg room! The rain seemed to be following us unfortunately so we ended up only staying for one night in Kuantan (it has a great mosque)and enjoyed a great murtabak (like a spicy ...
