      Twice over Stelvio in one day

      ... coffee shop and got out my map. I now had to make a decision as to what route I was going to take. The main route via Tirano is faster but is on main roads and is rather boring. The other route is all the way back up Stelvio and down the magical East pass which I took photos of earlier this morning.

      By the time I finished my coffee I had made up my mind that it was the route back over Stelvio. Its much harder work than the main roads but also 100% more enjoyable.

      ... IPad and I was well beaten by Jenny as is mostly the case. No Wifi in the room but it is advertised so will ask about it. Was not too interested in the TV show which had naked men and women dancing with a block of concrete.       ... to a castle. The food and service were wonderful and despite being stuffed from 3 weeks of traveling and eating, we managed to force down another great meal.

      We are safely home and back on our lake here in Cleveland. Travel always changes one, though, and we feel changed by this trip. We loved the beauty of Lucca and Bologna -- I think we will always feel that Lucca could be our home and Bologna ...
