    ... highlights of our little tour was when we stopped at one of the stalls that was selling candle light covers of various designs. One in particular had a design of sailing ships and lighthouses to which Johanna's mother exclaimed "Urgh, so typisch Norddeutsch"....having experienced as much of Germany as I had, this internal joke reminiscent of England's North-South divide gave me a warm chuckle.

    ... making our way back to Elena's house for some drinking and chatting whilst watching the Final of Germany's-Got-No-Talent-Either. Sunday was also very much like Saturday, including Glühwein again, but the evening consisted of me and Ingo going to the cinema to watch The Hobbit, where I also got the opportunity to turn into my dad by telling awful jokes.

    ... city in the warmest temperatures since I had arrived back in September, followed by myself cooking a meal for them and my friends at the house. On Tuesday I went with them to Hamburg before coming back and spending the rest of my time packing all my things for home.

    I then met with my landlord who gave me back my deposit, before waiting in the house with my housemates and leaving Bremen by coach at midnight.

    Being an Erasmus student not only means living in a foreign country, but also meeting people from a huge range of different countries, and this week was no exception. This weekend we had two midsummer celebrations.

    It's kinda fun to see places on TV all the time where I've been, such as Kyiv, Warsaw and Lviv - Halina who I lived with last semester is a volunteer in Lviv. Here in Bremen, there is a big public viewing of every match in the city, and every day hundreds of crazed people go to see the games, which we have also joined in for a few times. Yesterday we went to see the Germany game ...
