    ... still partying when I left, but I was dead by this point (they party so much longer and harder in Europe!) The next morning, I got up, took a shower, and when I came out I met my new dorm mates - they were four guys, all in their early 20's, from Italy. They didn't speak much English, although we chatted a bit (or tried to) then I left to go do my own thing.     ... to the Adrian Sea, where we hope to stay at least a day. The van is getting travel-tired I think because he slows down a LOT when going uphill. Even on straight roads we are lucky to go 80km/hr. Uphill I have to go back to often have to go back to 2nd gear! Mira has good idea to gain some speed. We do what racing cyclist do, staying just behind the one in front to catch as little wind as possible. So here we are tailing truck drivers, and it works!

    ... Got back into town at 2.30 so headed off to the library, one of the tallest buildings in the old city where we had a look out from the 7th floor, before having some lunch there. Hard to really pick anything out as it all is too flat. Followed another of Hein's routes down a street with wonderful old houses alongside, several at rather strange angles, definitely no longer vertical!
