We had heard about the horrendously long lines, so we biked to the house 30 minutes before it even opened. The line had already formed and was wrapped around the church next door. Sydney and I got our group some coffee and breakfast at a nearby cafe and we waited for 2.5 hours before we were let in. Despite the long line, it was completely worth it. The museum did ...

I had not done any research on public transport passes so we bought a day return ticket for around 11 Euros. Once we got to the city we started to explore, and Claudio found an H & M store to buy some new clothes. We thought we would do the Anne Frank Huis museum first but the queue was really long so we decided we would leave it for now. We hopped on a canal tour which was really interesting ...

    Who needs sleep?

A travel blog entry by kayaking_girl on Sep 11, 2014

I have arrived in Amsterdam with a 1.5 hour sleep. Fortunately I am a shift worker and should therefore be able to sleep on the flight to Kigali. The airport is quite large with various arms for the different gates. They served two meals on ...
