So today started with another peaceful wake up from Lisa's alarm to tell us it's running time. We again ran around the same park as yesterday and it was lovely and peaceful. While the plans for a train line didn't make it to fruition, there is now a motorway across the top of the dyke providing an efficient link between the north and north-east coastline.

We decided we should join in with them and sat down at a table on the Canal and enjoyed a couple of light snacks with a cool drink. Very pleasant way to start our very short visit to Amsterdam.

The atmosphere is lively and small boats, canoes and peddle boats meander by. On Saturday night these boats are filled with groups of hens or bucks parties.
