Disaster - the previous evening my glasses broke, and were not repairable. Checked out my emergency glasses and realised why thats what they were, as I'd obviously sat on them at some stage. Not good. Out looking for another pair after the morning walk, and at €5 each, bought a several pairs, as I always seem to be hauling them out of my handbag.

For our last night in Amsterdam, we spent time with our AirBNB host and his housemate. We talked and laughed over a couple bottles of wine until the wee hours.

we found a bar, took a seat and had a couple of beers. The bar tender was very friendly and it bar was low key which was nice. The back wall was completely covered in different currencies from around the world which were fun to look through. After a little while, we headed off to grab some grub.
