4. The balancing egg. There was an amusing competition on who could successfully balance an egg on a nail. I'd succeeded in doing this a few days before where we crossed an equatorial line; but this challenge was proving harder. The winner's certificate went to a guide, who obviously knew the insiders tips on balancing. Either that or I'm a sore loser! :o)
