Today was all about learning more about the Blazer Heritage and trying to find maybe some signs of Jewish life left in the city and surrounding villages.
We started off at the Synagogue which is still undergoing rennovations and rebuildings. There are maybe 2-3 Jews living in Zamosc. What used to be a city of 80% Jewish is now down to 2 or 3.

... quite sad to see it not attended to. It was really interesting to see. We made a quick stop at Krasnobrod but didn't go in the church as people were just leaving a service. Back in Bilgoraj we visited an ambitious development of a village/retail area that would have that old town feel. It would be great to see it finished. Our day started with a lovely breakfast with the family. We were served pancakes with fruit, including kiwifruit, and lots of cream. Then we headed off to Zamosc, A beautiful UNESCO town.
