Arrived at Buenos Aires International Airport around 4:30am. After proceeding through customs we boarded a local bus (Manuel Tienda Leon Co.) to the domestic airport for $7US. The bus gave us a scenic tour of the city, stopping at the their bus terminal to drop passengers off. We were impressed from what we saw of the city. It was nearly an hour before we disembarked at the domestic terminal. After checking our luggage in we had plenty of time to change money and to have breakfast at a café. ...
Iguazu, Argentina gmoWe vacated our room at the Orquideas Palace Hotel around 10am. We split the bill at $165p each (standard room $87p, dinner buffet $14p each). Our plane to Buenos Aires was to depart at 4pm, so plenty of time to sit around pool area to read. The weather was overcast, and then it started to rain so we moved to the veranda area. We had lunch at the hotel. It was Mothers Day in Argentina so a few more locals were having lunch here. We organized a mini bus to take us to the airport around 2pm for ...

Puerto Iguazu, Misiones, Argentona, Argentina juampapita... síííííínk ha, ha, ha.<br><br>The time at Yacutinga was just magic. The scenery, the wildlife and the excellent food made for a memory that will last for a very long time. I strongly suggest you should come there and experience what Mother Earth (still have) to offer. Oh and did I mention that I planted an orchid :)<br><br>The trip back to reality was a bit painful as I had two mosquito bites, the size of the bottom of a soda can on each cheek. And I talking about the lower ones mmmmmmmmmk<br>

But first I can chillax for a couple of days in BA and hopefully make a day trip to Uruguay...<br>

Iguazu Falls, Argentina christinekiwi... most of it.<br><br> Iguacu Falls, an immense sight of 275 separate falls all in the same place... Here is a snippet from the Lonely Planet wthich describes it very accurately!<br><br>''People who doubt the theory that 'negative ions generated by waterfalls make people happier' mights have to reconsider after visiting the Iguazu falls. Foz de Iguacu, State of Parana, Brazil theblakes... We got into the park and all our group kind of stuck together. There were 2 Americans, an Israeli and a French guy and they were all sound. The view from the Brazilian side of the falls is further back from the view we got the day before as we were on the other side of the river which forms the natural border. It was great to get both perspectives. We went over to the viewpoint for the Devils Throat and it was really cool. We were still getting ...
