      Eat-aly

A travel blog entry by wwooftrip2014 on Dec 12, 2014

You may be wondering why I titled this post eat-aly, I am convinced that the itlians are determined to send me home with a little extra weight. The food is one of the best parts of experiencing Italy, but they also think that they need to stuff you to the brim with pasta. :) haha I love Italians. Granted there ware lots of different types of pasta and suaces and meats, and then there is the pizza, ...

      ZENZERO SOUP DESTINY

      My carrot soup tastes funny
      Kinda brown and lumpy
And the stunningly beautiful woman at the next table
Says, "I can help, I speak English
And she did, perfectly and almost accent-less
      They ran out of carrot
      This is lentil, ok?
      We go with the soup
And make the lovely lady's acquaintance
      A doctor, lived in ...

      ... to relocate amenities
And make the buildings themselves more livable
      But it will take time
In the meantime, most Czech who can, own
      A "home in the countryside"
Where they can grow flowers and veggies
And relax surrounded by green space
Who knows what the future will bring
As this still old country Westernizes
Let's hope they take it slowly
      And only take the best
      Not the worst
      Of the West

As I said before I am terrible at this blog thing. We have been in Italy for two weeks now and have enjoyed it very much! Saying goodbye to Ireland and the people we met was bittersweet. Its hard to believe we are halfway done with our great adventure! I have enjoyed meeting so many different people, I think it has been the highlight for me. While in Ireland we met a wonderful Christian couple that took us around Donegal and took us to church, it was so good ...
