Maratea - A hilltop town with a difference
... bus system, as Maratea was made up of a few little hamlets, with the pretty port at the bottom, the beach on the next cove, then the station and finally the historical centre, which is where we stayed. The buses ran every hour and went on a continuous loop through all these destinations for 60cents each. Such a beautiful part of the world - shame I'm not doing the holiday extension at Lake Como, but it will be nice to see my family when I get back home.
