... We followed the directions to the first village then followed yellow arrows as directed (felt I was back on the Camino when we weren't lost!) . Who knows where and how we went wrong but ended up through olive groves on very faint overgrown track climbing through brambles ( just a few scratches here and there) obviously on private land - lots of spider webs but I fixed that...Vicki loves to go first! We left Stresa on Lake Maggiore in Lombardy at 8.30 am to go to Venice. On the way we stopped at Sirmione on Lake Garda.

The coach had to park outside the town and we walked in. Antonia asked if any of us wanted to go on a speed boat trip around the island so we put up our hands for that.
