The Ancient Agora
... while I had a yummy Greek salad. I'm going to miss the giant chunk of feta that they give you here!
After dinner we headed up to the viewpoint we had been at earlier in the day to take some photos of the pantheon and the city with all the lights on. It was very beautiful, and we got an even better show, when the lightening in the distance started to light up the sky in the distance.

I Can Go the Distance
... but was also a little spit-fire of a woman so our tour was very fast-paced. I am one to read everything at a museum, so where I would have needed at least 45 minutes on each floor, we probably spent about 10. I will definitely be going back. While there, I managed to snag a picture of Apollo's lute- commonly made out of the shell of a turtle- that was carved into the top of the Parthenon as a little homage to my musical roots.

Athens Fantastic
... Greece was in at the moment, and mentioned that tourism is about 40% down on last year. Poor media has lead people to believe that Athens is a little unstable to visit. But in reality, you feel very safe walking around. It is a shame realy, because the Greek people need the tourist money, but the tourists have been turned against them for no real reason.

Hop on Hop off
... the restaurant and both ordered Souvlaki, the traditional Greek dish. We filled up and then wandered around a bit more. I had asked a store attendant where I could get my haircut as I felt it was getting a bit long, and so we headed there. The guy was young, but very good; he spoke good English and gave me a great haircut. He said my last haircut was perfect, good wrap for my barber back home! We then headed home on the subway and enjoyed a good nights ...
MY FINAL DAY!!!
... two hours to get to, and we only had about 30 minutes, so at 10.30am we headed for a bar and had our first beer of the day. Poros is lovely - the kind of island I would love to visit again and spend a few days - very picturesc. All of the scenery throughout the day was just fantastic!
