... beach and Bianca goes in and has a nice swim. There is a wedding taking place on the cliff top opposite and I hope the bride and groom don’t step back to far. Getting hitched on a cliff – how poetic! Bianca decides that we need to pick a special rock from the beach and take it with us, I grab a small one but of course hers is bigger. The car is so full now that I don’t think we can fit either of them in.

First he provides some antipasto for 4 – 5 plates, coppa, some ricotta soaked in a sweet red wine, some pork in breadcrumbs, some asparagus & potato and some frittata with prosciutto and egg. Back home, we cook some more pasta for tea and settle down to eat it! It’s not cold but Dianne suggests starting a fire as our host has left some wood to do so! ... We then wander through the second trulli area which is a neighbourhood not a shopping area. I always find it more interesting as this is where people actually still live in the trulli. We imagine ourselves living in one but it is not too popular. Maybe we will build one for Bianca in our back yard.

Lecce

Off to Lecce to see another historic town, it's about 90 Kim's away, but on a good motorway. We are there in a little over an hour. First stop was to find a cafe and order an espresso with a nice pastries. Found one on the main piazza with the Utrusian ruins right in front of us.
