... age. They were going in to Geneva for school. I could tell from their accents and manner of speech that they were American, and I eavesdropped to see what I could learn about them. Not much, as it turned out, they were siblings and squabbled and bothered each other about not much of anything.

Switzerland actually has a large expatriate population, including quite a few celebrities who seem to mostly live around Lake Geneva. Taxes are low on the rich, and crime is low, which ...
Bastogne, Wallonia, Belgium joelmeeker... We then made our way to our host's house. It was easily found. Upon ringing the doorbell, you instantly heard the 3 dogs barking. We came inside and were greeted by them all. Two dogs were hers and one belongs to the neighbor. They were Phoebe, Spoogy, and Nina. Our host was Karyn (I think I'm spelling it right).

We got our things settled in and then left with them to take the dogs on a long walk. There is ...
Larochette, Luxembourg, Luxembourg themattsOf course I needed to visit Luxembourg, hiding away there between France, Germany and Belgium. It is the fifith smallest country in the world. It is very hilly and surrounded by trees. The hostel is down at the bottom of a cliff, yay! The city of course is quite small, but it is surrounded by ruins and forest which makes it quite a unique city in amongst the hustle and crowds of all the other major cities. The people there speak French and their own language, Luxembourgish I suppose.
Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, Luxembourg tonkin... researched dioramas, which are all based on oral history records and available photographs or other authentic historical materials. Countless interviews made with veterans and eye witnesses of the three sides thus enabled factual historical accuracy and balanced objectivity. " The museum is not an institution to tear up scarred wounds from W.W.II; it is a lively lesson of history that brings people together and makes them think and reflect on those tragic events to identify ...
Vianden, Diekirch, Luxembourg houghtaling... the country took all of 45 minutes!) to three villages: Ettelbrück, Diekirch and Viqnden, where one of the most picturesque (supposedly) castles in Europe is. Well, it took forever to find the way to the castle, and the place was over run with loud, slow-moving tourists and LOTS of motorcycles everywhere, with each rider wearing the stereotypical motorcyclist garb, someti,es even including assless chaps. So the castle (and Vianden) wasn't as great as we thought. Also, we had ...
Vianden, Diekirch, Luxembourg wagonmaker... but by then I was struggling to finish the last few mouthfuls. I would have loved dessert but there was no way I could manage anymore. Owain had some cheese with the last of the wine and I finished with a nice coffee. We tried to subtly take some photos of the gorgeous lights but had to mess around with settings on the camara to get it in focus and so wasn't very subtle at all in the end! When we left it was raining but we had a little look at ...
Vianden, Luxembourg watchoutworld... US troops during the war. We drove up to a monastery in Clervaux and to a quaint town along a river, Esch-Sur-Sure - not much there. Most of these towns were walled cities and either have a castle or castle ruins. After dinner at Hotel Petry, we walked down to the river to view the castle at night - awesome - like a fairy tale - all lit up. On the way back uphill to our hotel, we stopped at the Trinitarian Church next to our ...
Vianden, Luxembourg linda1917... really fast down the hill and out of no where the huge ancient castle just appeared). There was also a medieval festival going on at the same time so there were a ton of people there. I went to find the hostel where I planned on staying (so I could rest that night and bike back the next morning), but since there was the festival going on it was all full... which meant that Peyton and his sore behind had to bike ...
