We arrived bright and early after a long train trip to Bordeaux which is a nice town in the south of France with almost entirely medievil buildings which are heritage listed. We spent the first day checking out the sights which consisted of a grand palace, Place de la Victoire, Bordeaux cathedral, Pont de pierre and Basilica of St. Michael and the mirror water.

Most of the supermarkets have bargain isles and, being her mother’s daughter, ...

We love the French markets. The food on offer is fresh and some of is so well presented you have to buy some- and who can walk past pork and chickens spit roasting without stopping to buy!
