... out that, at this point, I've already asked the bus driver several times whether there is a toilet on board (nein) and if we're going to be stopping soon (also nein). In fact, he is point blank refusing to speak in English to me. Even though he's speaking near-perfect to the American girl sat across the row. This seems fair. ANYWAY. It's at this moment, as I'm turning to blind panic, ...

We were at our destination Aschach ( a picturesque Austrian town) in time for a quick supermarket stock up before the barge departed at 3.30 pm. Even Everybody Loves Raymond is in German! Who said the Germans had no sense of humour......the show makes more sense ...

It was pretty gusty and sometimes my poor wife would have to stand up to pedal through it, rather than go in reverse. We arrived in Grein, our stop for tonight around 4:00pm. We checked out the town, took pictures, visited a church and went to dinner with a couple from England. Their ...

Left the Hilton about 930am. Had some rain on the way to Cesky Krumlov. Arrived about 1pm. Wandered about the old Town, absolutely fabulous. Dinner at a Italian Restaurant around the corner from the hotel. We had a drink at the bar and then had dinner at the restaurant. We shared a beef carpaccio, for mains Leonie had a Fritto Misto and I had prawns with a Whisky and tomato sauce. Both dishes where excellent and got washed down with a nice Italian ...
