... off on the Vespa heading south down to Amalfi. It was a very nerve wracking and slow start down the mountain as we got used to the narrow roads and the fact we had to drive on the other side of the road .... we had travelled for about the first 500m before we realized we were on the wrong side of the road ....LOL .Anyway we had a short stop in Positano for some sunblock and a backpack then it was back on the Vespa again. Tomorrow we think we will take a ferry from Positano to the Isle of Capri to check out the Villa of Tiberius - apparently it is very beautiful. See how we feel ...

... to join them for lunch. So after a quick swim in the sea, we jump on a water taxi and enjoy a lovely simple lunch, chatting and people watching. In the afternoon I intend to spend swimming at the public cove as it has easier water access than our villa, but there's an older italian man that just won't leave me alone. Although I appreciate his offers, I don't feel comfortable, and he won't accept me graciously declining his miraid of ...

... to work up the maybe...or maybe I'm just happy these days to relax...

My afternoon passes quickly and includes a visit to the township, to buy some nibbles and I'm thrilled to find a bottle of the Marisa Cuomo Rose, and as the sun sets I sit on the terrace, sipping rose and listening to Hay House podcasts that I've downloaded to my i-phone. I feel a sense of gratitude for being here, at one with the world and with life.
