Stopped off at the supermarket and picked up a meat and cheese dinner and found a cliff view spot just after Pontiano - restaurant car park, but enough cover and space for us with a bit of light for the night. Then down the stairs into the Basilica, which is an imposing white space with a monstrous high wooden beamed ceiling, and dates back to 596 AD, but is now used a museum for church relics. The items encased in glass are extraordinary, especially when you think they were all created entirely by hand, and I wonder how much time must have gone into making them? ... and a small beach but it was a great spot to have lunch and some vino. We put a roof on the boat and learned how to tie a fisherman's knot ... After twenty tries I think I got it!
