    Homeland and goat herders!

    ... green pastures in the hills, was that the Czerkauer's must have been goat herders, and not very good ones since why else would we have left such prime pastureland. I complained that there were no animals out, so she couldn't really know what was being raised on these pastures. Of course, we had to slow down and avoid a herd of goats just before pulling into Melč - so she won the argument.

    Went to airport but to visit travelex. Heading towards Auschwitz and trying to keep of the highways, had lots of breaks and from the road. Went looking for a camp site but it was closed so found a very nice and friend hotel half way up the mountains.     ... in shopping in the supermarket in the photos. Headed into Novy Jicin-Louca through the old town gate, impressive, so was the beautiful town square lined with Renaissance and Baroque houses. Ate our (breakfast) lunch here, it was getting quite hot again. We could see harvesters out in the fields reaping canola and wheat.
