Stayed on the outskirts of a large campsite with lots of Germans on their way into The Netherlands. ... what you weren't meant to do in a thunder storm, pretty sure standing under trees and cycling are on the list. I then set off again, sure it was finished this time but I had only cycled a further 5 minutes and down it came again. This time I was passing through a pretty rough looking estate full of high rise flats and I sheltered under a balcony outside someone's garage. ... of Dutch food, plus what was my favourite as a child. Corina said they only have that when I come there, don't think she likes it. With my aunt's birthday we did have some beautiful cakes, I swear you cannot buy them in Australia, even on the cruise they had lovely cakes, but didn't taste anything like the ones you get in Holland. My aunt tells me today that since we arrived I had 4!!. ...

Well it's my aunts birthday today, we went there at 10am, unfortunately my other cousin Jac couldn't come as he has Parkinson's disease and today was not a good day, his wife Rika was there and it was nice catching up with her again,she said I hadn't changed a bit since she last saw me, which was about 13 years ago.

... busy making hay and growing potatoes, maize and wheat. These farmers can certainly farm well. At a small village we stopped for coffee and in the restaurant came across some posters showing the fish species that are caught in the region. I took photos for those of you that might be interested.
