... place. We drove around some if the local villages increasing our property portfolio with villas for sale with sea and snow topped mountain views, before getting on the national road to Rethymno. We parked in the same spot as on our last visit and walked into the centre. In the more modern part of tiwn there is carols playing through a loud speaker system, a warm sunny day and there are lots if people wandering around and enjoying ...

Before leaving the campsite we walked Logan on the beach, it's makes your ankles ache walking on the pebbles. The sea is much calmer, but the wind is still cold and gusty.
We set off to drive to the next village, we had to drive up into the mountains across one of the deep ravines and then come back down again.

... a calendar with pictures of his shop on the front! Once the shopping was put away we drove through the town, it's split into two parts with a hill separating the two sides, where there is the remains of a fort. The new side has a new harbour and a sandy beach, most of the houses are low rise apartments with flat roofs, the old side has the old harbour and small houses with red tiled roofs. We followed the signs for a camp site, hoping that it would be open, somewhere to shelter ...

... a small herd of goats ahead of us and Logan was wanting to round them up, as he was on the lead he kept running around us following his herding instinct. Back at Dream Catcher we could see the Austrians paddling across to the Islet. We took of our shoes and socks and zipped off our trouser legs, then walked across the beach to paddle across ourselves. We had to be careful as in places the water was quite deep, luckily Logan was out in front so we used him as ...
