... we needed to leave the room at some point as we had no lunch or dinner stuff. So after Adalia woke up we went for a Maccas lunch. This was an experience and a half. There are no covered walkways, so the few shopfront awnings were crammed with homeless men, all with their hands out asking for money. We walked as quickly as possible into Maccas but it was no escape, they were walking around in there asking for money while you sat eating. I was feeling very intimidated ...

Began to see more people, jogging, cycling or just walking like myself. A steep, long flight of wooden stairs slowed many down (or caused some to speed up) and caused gasping breaths and increased heartbeats. The reward is a peek through the vegetation of downtown's high rise buildings.

We have become good friends with our seat mates in KK 1 and 2 who speak English as well as we speak French.
