... were lined with jars upon jars of the stuff, some spicy, some filled with gnocchi and ready for dinner, some with meat. Again, the thought of carrying stuff all day was daunting, so we vowed to return before closing at 5 pm. I swear I could've just sat there all day and sniff the air. Yum.

My usual philosophy of "just buy it there" might not work so well, given the remote regions I'll be in, so I'm taking extra precautions with things like my first aid kit and my personal effects. I'm also planning to pack a handful of protein and breakfast bars for overnight trains or for those days when vegetarianism is just an impossible concept to explain.

Woke up to a brighter day, thankfully. What a difference a couple of days make. Yesterday's rain has certainly shifted a lot of the snow and the ice flows on the river are almost non-existent. After a leisurely breakfast Sonia had her car brought to the front of the hotel and we set out to explore. We travelled East from the city along the north side of the river and past Isle d'Orleans, an island in the river, towards Ste-Anne-de-Baupre ...

... out who he is..,still have no idea:) Off to the game. We climbed the escalators to our seats in 322 at sat back to enjoy the game. It was awesome! The crowd was really into the game and Collin was screaming and jumping up and down. There were some very bad calls by the refs and one goal was called back, but they still won 6-3. Very exciting!! We met up with the Powers after the game for the walk back to the hotel. Again we split up for an hour or so to chat and then to ...
