... our exploration of Prague on a beautiful sunny day. We walked along the river and crossed over the Charles Bridge, had some excellent pastries (I'll be having more), are some Czech food (it's not bad, but it's also not great) saw the astronomical clock and didn't realise and had a well deserved relaxing afternoon. We ate at a lovely French restaurant, I had chicken with truffle sauce and some sort of mashed eggplant which was actually quite nice - I'll give all of you who know me well ...

Travel day to Prague Breaky @8am good breaky - I had peach yogurt, and a roll with salami and cheese in it. Also had some Philadelphia cheese on the roll. Had a coffee that actually tasted like coffee! The sugar is called 'tea candy' it is sugar, but the size of large rock salt - took forever to stir in! Leave @9am First services in 3 hours, Lunch Another 3 hours. Then arrive in Prague.Meg's takes us on a walking ...

Our journey to Prague saw us taking private cars from Krakow to a train station about 2 hours from Krakow then boarding a train for the remainder of the journey to Prague. ... strike 12 the sun comes out in full force and our shade disappears. As the noon hour approaches (the clock does its thing every hour on the hour) the various tour groups that were circling the square now focus on the small location in front of the clock, and I might add, in front of us.
