I still don’t understand how people can be so proud of luring an animal into an open space with food and then shooting it in the head. I mean if you wrestled it to the floor with your bare hands then good for you….if the dear had lasers for eyes then good for you….but seriously…you just shot an unknowing dear in ...

We enjoyed our stop even though it wasn’t what we were expecting. We have a cute little china cup for our Christmas tree decoration.
We are close to the German border so we use all our Krouns for diesel and leave Czech Republic. It most certainly is a beautiful country along the west side. We passed fields and fields of poppyflower heads. It must have been beautiful when they were all in bloom!
Sitting in the living room of the house that will be 'homebase' for the next few months. Weird to think that this time last week we were just pootling around Sydney doing our thing!

Karlovy Vary, Bohemia, Czech Republic tdennissteel... The standimg room tickets were $4, a hot dog was $1 ad a 1/2 litre of beer was $1.56-CRAZY! The calibre of hockey is high and the atmosphere was awesome-lots of singing and chanting. 80% of the attendees were sporting team colors and the most popular accessory was a scarf with the team colors which was waved wildy after a goal-unfortunately, we scored one lass goal than the other team and lost 2-3 in overtime, but what fun despite standing in concrete ...
