A travel blog entry by deantyrrell on Aug 08, 2014

Today we drove and arrived at Charite Sur Loire. We arrived about 5:20 as on the way, we spotted a go karting place and Max and Dad did two lots of a 10minute race. Back on ST we had an early night for an early start in the morning. With temperatures forecast higher than today at 35C, so we want to get as far as we can before ...

... John, it was good fun and our turns ended when we both toppled the tractor over! We then went up on to the veranda with fantastic views across the vineyards and the wine we tasted was one of the local wines from a village that was pointed out in the distance. Their soil had both chalk and flint and this meant that the soil held the heat from the sun much longer into the evening which apparently favoured white grape growing. It was very nice and we were told ...
