... the Adriatic, I doubt I'd have been tempted as the sea was a strange tea-colour and, with the cranes of Gdansk clearly visible in the east, I'm not sure it would qualify for Blue Flag status. The hotel, by comparison, was lovely. It had only been open for three weeks and everything down to the shower taps was very high quality. It was on the first road back from and parallel to the sea, so a great location in the (proper) summer months.
