... road sense. The GPS took us all the way to the Europcar drop off that was very close waking distance to the terminal. There were some small dings on the back courtesy of the person who nudged the back of me at high speed and sped off without stopping; lucky I took out insurance to cover any damage. We have done so much driving in narrow streets not designed for cars that in hindsight I should not be surprised that I would not get away ...

An easy lazy day getting ready for the late afternoon wedding. Drove into town for Jane to get coiffured and by then it was lunchtime so wandered around the corner and saw an impressive looking, busy restaurant called Bistrot with a Michelin sticker on the outside and filled with Japanese. One of our best lunches, and Jane's crispy seafood and vegetables was a standout. Huge wine list but we kept costs within reason by having the house wines that were nevertheless superb.
