      ... hours, pay the toll John pay the toll, you would have used more in fuel than the toll you saved. Did find a swanky restaurant for lunch though. Got to Arco in the Dolomites in the evening and checked in to our modern Hotel and had dinner in town. My mate Doug would love Arco it is a climbers delight, climbing gear everywhere.       ... to a castle. The food and service were wonderful and despite being stuffed from 3 weeks of traveling and eating, we managed to force down another great meal.

      We are safely home and back on our lake here in Cleveland. Travel always changes one, though, and we feel changed by this trip. We loved the beauty of Lucca and Bologna -- I think we will always feel that Lucca could be our home and Bologna ...

      ... then headed over to the museum. We had been told it was great for kids and they loved it. It had a mini scitech section, a section on mountain animals, dinosaur and whale bones, plus more. We spent a couple of hours there being dragged from section to section by 3 excited kids. Luckily the drive home was much less eventful than the ride there and Luca and Brodie both had a nap.       ... when it started to rain again no-one else wanted to join her. So instead, we skimmed rocks for awhile.

      We then headed back along the S240 and went through this massively long tunnel which went for ages. Apparently this tunnel went right through the mountain. They definitely have good tunnels in Italy.

      When we got back home we went and played mini-golf with Dad. There was a course just across the road from our apartment. It was great. Everyone got at least ...
