    ... m not,in fact I'm not feeling so good! Could do without this when I'm not at home... After what seemed a life time we arrived at Arnhem about 20:30hrs their time. I've hooked up with a few of the guys from Portsmouth PRA and it's a great atmosphere . Tomorrow 19th is another early start for us which finds us on a Battle Field Tour at Arnhem first ...

    ... the gardens where the sculptures were displayed and after, a guided tour of the collection of paintings that Helene Müller and Anton Kröller had amassed during the late 1800's which included many Van Gogh’s. The sculpture selections were very eclectic and for the most part, modern. Many of the paintings were familiar to us and the guide did a great job of showing us the evolution of Van Gogh as a painter.

    Well we arrived in Amsterdam on Saturday evening, hired a car an drive out to Arnhem, the street we are staying in was pedestrian and we couldn't get to it so the Navigation system had us drive around in circles for about half an hour ... Not a great way to end the day!!! But we found our apartments in the end, Emma's sisters where already in them when we got there so that made things a little easier.     ... drive round Arnhem before finding somewhere for dinner. This was relatively easy but I didn't see anything particularly interesting as the place was probably totally destroyed in the war. I did, however, see the bridge my mum keeps banging on about. So my next stop was the supermarket to get more biscuits to eat in bed and to look at the dutch beer.
