... 8211; as in “what I am fighting for”. The answer being - the kids, the trees, people suffering all around the world, and so on… But sometimes it is the “how” – as in “how we’re going to do it” that makes the impact and provides the inspiration and hope.
The latter was working in full-force for me at the Nordic Folkecenter. Just soaking in everything that is possible made me so certain ...
... so important etc. It is pretty basic and easy to read because it was written for journalists.
Hopefully that fills everyone in, and then the rest of my posts will make sense over the next few weeks.
Another post coming very soon about the Folkecentre. Fabulous place!! :-)
Silkeborg was a beautiful little city built around it's river. It had walking paths by the river, and in the summer had river cruises. Such a pretty place. One thing that caught our attention was the garages for boats, complete with roller doors and all.

Rene wasnt working so he toook me around the city for the first day i was there. we walked all over and headed up to the Aalborg tower which sat over 100m above the city. Aalborg, Denmark rohanandchris... train station ... desperate to put the bags down ... anywhere!!! Silkeborg (central Jutland) was our first destination outside of Copenhagen and we took a lovely train ride to Arhus followed by a bus ride to the heart of the Lakes District of Denmark. The hostel in Silkeborg was by far the best I've ever stayed in and we had our very own little cabin right by the water's edge. Apart from the fact that we didn't leave the heater on overnight on the first night and we woke up freezing ...
Aalborg, Denmark kenanddonna2005... later and join the rest to go to town again for dinner. Dinner was provided by the tour and the guide led us to various interest points of the town including the Jens Bangs Stenhus, Old Town hall, Monastry of the Holy Ghost and Aalborghus Slot (castle). We finally reached Benzons, one of the restaurant recommended by LP. Dinner at Benzons was a 3 course meal consisting of Shrimp cocktail, Chicken (bland) and pear pie. Dinner was served ...
Odense and Aalborg, Denmark ricochetOnce a week I used to meet with the youth group at Hillerød Library to do book, film, pc-game and music reviews. DR-Radio had heard of us and invited us to Aalborg to do a couple of shows. It was a lot of fun, eventhough the trip home wasn't that nice, because we were stuck in Storebælts Tunnelen, because there was a hurrican over Demark that day, yay. But we got home eventually, about 4 hours late.
