It didn't stop until late so we just took a quick stroll down to the beach in between the showers. We joined the new camp site owners and locals in the bar/restaurant for bratwursts and locally brewed beers or a G and T. £3. for each of the drinks...a bargain. We left having made lots of new friends.
A fund day trip up and back to Alborg to see our colleague Paola, it was well, BLOODY COLD this morning, with the front of one train covered in snow, but jsut remained wet and cold.
Walked around in the rain with Paola and her husband, and then had a REALLY lunch, and even more art. ...

Still, things cant be all bad. Although Im paying for this
stop theres free wifi (when it works), and I managed to put my clothes and bedding
through the washing machine and tumble drier, so that’s a bonus. Oh, and they

I got a more positive view of people in general I would say. We were met with more hospitality then I had ever hoped for on this trip.
Maybe we where in too much of a hurry to get around. It would have been very nice to stay longer in some places, I believe. Also, I learned a little Spanish, French and Italian, but not much. It was very funny to try to get rides with words I hardly knew what they meant. I don't regret that we didn't go to Venice, ...
This was my first real vacation with friends, and I had an awesome time. Francesco and Melina, both housemates, traveled with me to Northern Jutland, the top region of Denmark. I hadn't really had the chance to travel around Denmark yet, and Ålborg and Skagen were both great choices for a new experience. The rest of Denmark is small and quaint and is a lot different than Copenhagen. Hopefully I get the chance to travel with friends again before I leave.
