    Going to see the falls of Karuizawa with Eri-chan. Water falls like strings, so some people call them the noodles strings fall or something like that. After we go for lunch, Italian restaurant.     ... a tunnel that took you into total darkness to replicate the movement into the afterlife. It is rare to ever be in that total darkness these days, and so I made sure I kept tight to the right hand wall as recommended.     ... at 10.50. Dep 11.05 Arr 11.57. Car 5 Seat 14C. Changed to next train-had to run. Non-reserved seats. Bus to Snow monkey place. Bus back to the ryokan Arrived at ryokan Yorozuya around 4pm.     ... her camera but she may have to upgrade. The fixed lens was limited as the zoom range was not terribly long with her Sony RX100 camera. Despite this, most of her photos turned out quite well.

    We whiled the morning away doing more window shopping after breakfast. We were to catch the train to Tachikawa after lunch as Shigeki and Norzin were meeting us at the Granduo Shopping Centre at 3pm.

    We decided to stick to Kawasaki and wandered around looking for more lens filters. UV filters are so hard to come by now. They only have "protection filters" i.e. multicoated glass ones. Anyway, we bought one more and exchanged another ...
