At least it moved fairly quickly and I wrote this blog whilst in the queue. We caught the gondola and the ropeway train back the other direction to Gora. I got the bus from Shinjuku and it took two hours and its easy enough. I suggest getting off at the kawaguchiko station which is central to buses and trains. Theres not much point in getting off at the highlands unless you intend to make the 6 ...

All in all it was a great weekend-plus-a-day. Back in Tokyo, I thought "I'm glad that I can sleep in my own bed tonight". Hah, my OWN bed. Well, that's definitely a first! ...
