So I´ve arrived in Santa Cruz...carrying on the Chilean story. We were on the beach where we noticed a man selling a range of spiritual necklaces. I love this type of thing and sat down on the floor besides all the necklaces looking at all of them. All of them had different meanings helping everyone on their spiritual journey. Killing time
... to stay there all day, but we thought we should check out Valparaiso while we were there. So we caught a local bus 10 mins down the road, and rocked up at Valparaiso. ... thing was the sheer amount of graffiti everywhere and I mean everywhere! We must have got here just after a street art festival because the locals were out in force giving all the buildings in the lower parts of the city a fresh lick of paint. Quite an interesting site! Chillin in Chile
... of a few beach bungalows, a restaurant/bar (which is only open on weekends), and about 5 miles of pristine untouched beach. I was sold on the ladder. The only three things to do in Ritoque is relax on the beach, surf, and enjoy Chile’s impressive wine selections. That’s exactly what I did. For about $10 a night, I got a room with a hell of a view (see pictures). Ritoque turned out to be (in my opinion) the real hidden jewel of Chile.
